M. Isabelle Pollard

Peacefully at home on Friday December 19th , 2008 of M. Isabelle Pollard of Pleasant Court, Kensington aged 75 years. Born in New Annan on March 12, 1933 daughter of the late Leo L. and Mary L. (Haggerty) Condon. Wife of the late Spurgeon and mother of the late Reginald and Joseph Pollard. Dear sister of Reginald, Charlie and Karen, James, Donald and Sharon Condon all of Kensington and Bernadine (Ronald) Boylan, East Bideford. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers John W. (Jack), and Roger Condon who died in infancy, sister Rosemary Moase (late John) and a special caring Aunt Lillian (Tantie) Condon.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday in the Church of the Holy Family Kensington at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Lot 65. If so desired contributions may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Church of the Holy Family. Members of St. Mary’s Holy Family Parish CWL will hold a prayer service at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday and members of the Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Br. # 9 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a service of remembrance at 4 p.m.
