Valerie R. Waite

Valerie Ruth (Callbeck) Waite of Summerside, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 peacefully at Andrews of Summerside.

Valerie was born on August 18, 1930 to the late Ernest E. Callbeck and Olga A. Parkman-Woodside . Pre-deceased by her husband Elton A. Waite, son Gregory and daughter Vicky Waite.  Survived by her children Tracy (Iola) Waite, Barry (Cindy) Waite ; daughter-in-law Miriam Waite; son-in-law Mitchell Drummond; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sisters and brothers-in-laws Evelyn Callbeck, Beulah Waite, Olga Callbeck and Ensor (Louise) Waite.

Also pre-deceased by her grandson Blake Waite, her brothers Marshall and Keith Callbeck, brothers-in-law Ivan Waite and Elmer (Frances) Waite.  

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday, June 30^th from 12:30 until 1:50 p.m. which will then be followed by the funeral in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the People’s Cemetery Summerside.
