1941-2025
At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday October 5, 2025 of Donald Grant Adams of Darnley aged 84 years. Born in Summerside, January 27, 1941 son of the late Colin and Barbara (Ramsay) Adams. Survived by wife Joan Carruthers, daughters Miriam Dawn (Ron) Arsenault, Maureen Elizabeth (Shelley Montreuil) and son Colin Wayne (Tanya Boylan). Brother Eric Adams(Sylvia Topolnicki). Grandfather of Matthew (Sara) Arsenault, CJ (Madison Williams) Adams, Paul (Katherine Searle) Adams and Shianne (Ryan) Davis. Great-Grandfather to Rielynn, Dutton and Paisley Rose. Also greatly missed by nieces Gail and Peggy.
Don was wonderful husband and father, and a kind, caring and generous neighbor. His career began as a teacher, and progressed through various farming endeavors. At the same time he developed a prosperous cottage rental business. His favorite pastime was visiting the neighbors and the tourists.
He will be sadly missed by family and his many friends.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Visitation on Tuesday, October 14th from 11am- 1 pm with a service to follow at 1pm in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the People’s Cemetery, Malpeque. The family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at Prince County Hospital and the Provincial Renal Clinic.
