L. Ruth Mallett

Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, on September 8, 2025 with her family by her side L. "Ruthie" Mallett went to be with her Lord and Saviour. Born December 26, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Roland and Edith (Cooke) Pickering.

Much loved wife to George Mallett for 46 years. Dear mother to James (April Keays) and Krystal (Danny Perry). Precious grandmother "Nina" to Bailey. Chloe, Summer and Sophie. Affectionately known as "Rudy" to her children.

Lovingly remembered by her siblings Lloyd (Bonnie), Mary (Gordon) Ramsay, sister-in-law Diana (David deceased in 2018), Paul (Aleatha), Stanford (Margo) and many dear nieces and nephews. Also survived by loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Ruthie was a very devoted, loving wife and mother; her family was very dear to her. A great storyteller, she wrote "Old Memories, New Beginnings" in 2009. She was well known for her love of animals, spending time at the beach with her family and swimming in her pool. She enjoyed meeting hunters when running her goose plucking business.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no wake or funeral service. Cremation entrusted to the Davison Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
