6. Gather Information for Death Notice: Davison Funeral Home will normally write the article and submit to the newspaper(s).
7. Decide an appropriate memorial to which gifts can be made.

15. Prepare a list of distant persons to be notified.
16. Old Age Security cancellation & Canada Pension Applications for death benefit, spousal allowance and orphans benefit. Davison Funeral Home will supply forms and aid in completion.
17. If checks are automatic deposit, notify bank of death. Check with Old Age Security at (800) 277-9914 to see that number is retired, and for possible additional benefits such as Widowed Spouses Allowance and Guaranteed Income Supplement.
