Miriam N. Bernard

At Clinton View Lodge, Clinton on Sunday March 8, 2015 Miriam N. Bernard formerly of French River aged 91 years.  Born in Grahams Road on March 18, 1923 daughter of the late Bert and Elva (Bernard) MacKay. Wife of the late Harold O. Bernard.  Mother of Allan (Donna) Bernard, French River, Alice (Ross) Reeves, Freetown, Keith (Carol) Bernard French River and Elva (James) Carruthers, Hamilton. Grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Sister of Mary Campbell and Laura (Duncan) Cole.  Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by son-in-law Harold Evans, sister Charity (Fred) Bernard and brothers and sisters-in-law Earle Campbell, Wallace Bernard, Charles (Beatrice) Bernard, Ola (John) Woods and Nina (Stanley) Brown.  Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Thursday from 6:30 - 9 p.m.  Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m.   Interment later in Geddie Memorial Cemetery Spring Brook.  If so desired contributions may be made to the Geddie Memorial Cemetery Fund.
