Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Tuesday March 3, 2015 of Eileen J. Pickering of Russell Street, Kensington aged 94 years. Born in Hamilton, PEI on September 3, 1920 daughter of the late William J. and Beatrice (Phillips) Hamilton. Wife of the late W. Heber Pickering. Mother of Carole McCarvell, South Granville. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son in law Edwin (Ed) McCarvell.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No visitation by personal request. A public funeral service will be held Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired contributions may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Kensington People’s Cemetery Fund.
