Clair Simpson Crozier

Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Saturday February 21, 2015 Clair Simpson Crozier of  Malpeque,  beloved husband of the late Audrey Alberta (Quinn) Crozier.  Brother of  Lillian (Orville) Robinson, Chapleau, Ontario, Dorothy Thrasher, Summerside (Cecil - deceased) and  Thane (Helen) Crozier, Elliot Lake, Ontario. Brother-in-law of June Crozier, Forest, Ontario  Also survived by several Crozier nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and the United States. Predeceased by his brother Leigh Crozier and sisters Shirley Couling and Esther (in infancy). 

Born in Darnley, PEI son of the late William Bruce and Beatrice White (Campbell) Crozier.  Clair worked for several years in Chapleau and London, Ontario, returning to the Island to spend most of his life as an oyster grower. He was deeply involved as a local historian (especially "in costume" at the Kier Memorial Museum’s summer lectures), and author of " A Crozier Record from 1812-2000" ). He was a long time brother of King Edward Lodge # 16 Malpeque. 

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday March 28th  from 10-11a.m. followed by the Masonic Memorial Service by the Brethren of King Edward Lodge # 16 AF & AM at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Murray Christian Education Centre of The Kensington United Church. If so desired contributions may be made to Princetown United Church or Malpeque People’s Cemetery Fund. 

The family is extremely grateful to all those who helped Clair over the years and during the recent medical crisis.
