At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday December 19, 2014 of Ivan J. Beairsto of All Weather Hwy Summerside, aged 64 years. Born in Alberton on May 23, 1950 son of the late John and Beatrice (Arthur) Beairsto. Husband of Gertrude (Cousins) Beairsto. Father of Donna Lynn (Peter) Gaudet, Jonathan Beairsto and grandson Devon Gaudet all of Summerside. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Beairsto, Kensington; Judith (Wallace) Stewart, Borden-Carleton; Edwena Cousins, Spring Brook and Linda Murray, Mississauga, Ontario. Uncle to Natalie (Gil) Seguin, Sherry Cousins, Justin Stewart, Shawna Stewart, Myles (Cheryl) Hickey, Gary (Maria) Hickey, Marsha (Kevin) Nettles, Ron (Jeri Hennigar) Beairsto, Heather (Rob) Lane and Marlon Beairsto as well as a number of grand nieces and nephews.
Ivan was predeceased by a son in infancy, sister Erma and husband James Hickey and their daughter Sandra Hickey, brother Preston Beairsto. Father-in-law and mother-in-law Gordon and Margaret (Blakeney) Cousins. Brothers-in-law James and Roger Cousins.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Funeral Sunday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
