At Summerset Manor, Summerside on Sunday December 14, 2014 of Gene E. Crane, Veteran of the Korean War and formerly of Kensington aged 81 years. Born in Summerside on December 27, 1932 son and last surviving member of the late Lea and Nina (Durant) Crane family. Uncle of  Wendy Crane, Al Crane, Ralph (Ann), Kenneth (Roseanne), Stephen (Heather), Martin (Emmi) Douglas (Tara), Gordon and Tammy (Suzy) Champion.

Great Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Earle and Floyd Crane and sister Louise Champion.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington, no visitation by personal request.  A public graveside committal service will be held at the Margate Cemetery on Friday December 19th at 11 a.m.  Comrades of the Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Branch # 9 Kensington will hold a service of remembrance following the committal service.  If so desired contributions may be made to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Branch # 9 Royal Canadian Legion.
