At Andrews Lodge, Summerside on Thursday December 4, 2014 of J.W. Marshall Thompson formerly of Fountain Road aged 84 years. Born in Kensington November 19, 1930 son of the late Walter and Jennie (Carr) Thompson. Husband of Evelyn L. (MacDonald) Thompson. Father of Stephen (Martha) Thompson, Saint John and Sonya Thompson (Chris Moncrief) Fountain Road. Grandfather of Christopher (Tonya) Moase, Angela Moase (Corey Galbraith), Sean Thompson and Leah Thompson. Great-grandfather of Landon Moase and Mya Moase. Brother of twin sister Jean Sherren Burt, Summerside and Layton (Jean) Thompson, North Whiltshire. Brother-in-law of Jean Thompson, Clinton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister Ruby Porter and brother Eric Thompson.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery Kensington. If so desired contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Brethren of Mount Zion Lodge #12 Kensington AF & AM will hold a Masonic Memorial Service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 9 p.m.
