At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Tuesday November 25, 2014 of Dorothy H. "Dot" Jay of Summerside and formerly of Kinkora aged 88 years. Born in New Zealand, June 13, 1926 daughter of the late Adolphus and Winifred (Connolly) Cheverie. Wife of the late David F. Jay. Mother Joey (Marcia) Jay; Donna (Angus) Beck; Maureen (George) Campbell, Wayne (Sandra) Jay; Kerry (Lynda) Jay; Colleen Setter and David Jay. Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Alma (Everett) Mitchell; Gloria (Stan) Botts, Eileen (Ed) Horeczy; Mary (Don) Denman, Shirley (Allan) Handrahan and Kenneth (Dianne) Cheverie.
Predeceased by her brothers Francis Cheverie and Myles Cheverie and her sister Muriel Cheverie.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington, where a private family funeral service will be held. No visitation by personal request. Interment in St. Malachy's Cemetery, Kinkora. If so desired contributions may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
