At Clinton View Lodge, Clinton on Friday October 31, 2014 of Joseph H. Thibeau formerly of Kensington aged 89 years. Veteran of World War II, born in Egmont Bay on October 23, 1925 son of the late Benjamin and Mary Sophia (Arsenault) Thibeau. Husband of the late N. Evelyn (Gauthier) Thibeau.  Brother of Art (Grace Razavet), Summerside; Fred (Waneatta), Kensington; George (Lynda) Thibeau, Dundas, Ontario and Jean (Lawrence) Coldwell, Greenwood, Nova Scotia. Brother-in- law of Cyril Gallant and Phyllis Thibeau. Step-father of Bonita (Bonnie) Conrod, Dianne Sampson both of North Rustico and Lynn Cooper, Saskatoon, Sask. Also surviving are many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by  sister Theresa Gallant and brothers Francis, Gilbert, Billy and  Leonard Thibeau.  Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Sunday from 2- 4 p.m.   Comrades of the Lt Col E.W. Johnstone Br # 9 Royal Canadian Legion Kensington will hold a service of remembrance for their late comrade immediately following the visitation.  Funeral Mass Monday at the Church of The Holy Family Kensington at 10:30 a.m.  Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Indian River.  If so desired memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund.
