W. Barry Thompson

At the Prince County Hospital Summerside, surrounded by family on Friday April 11, 2014 of W. Barry Thompson of Stewart St. Kensington aged 63 years. Born in Summerside on February 23, 1951 son of the late G. Wallace and Ruth (Dalzell) Thompson.  Husband of Beverly (Cann) Thompson.  Father of Jennifer Thompson, Stephanie Thompson (Patrick Noonan), Melissa Thompson (Kevin Arthur).  Brother of Don (Rhonda), Dean (Charlotte), Danny (Joanne) and Peter (Leila) Thompson.  Son-in-law of Lloyd and Mary (MacKenzie) Cann.  Brother-in-law of Marion (Eric) MacCaull and Marvyn (Helen) Cann. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Judy Ann Thompson.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m.  Interment in People’s Cemetery Kensington.

Comrades of Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Branch # 9 Royal Canadian Legion Kensington will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.  Brethren of Mount Zion Lodge # 12 A.F. & A.M. Kensington will hold a Masonic memorial service at the funeral home Wednesday at 9 p.m.
