Leon Joseph McFee

Leon Joseph McFee passed away at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Monday March 24, 2014.  Born in Cookville, New Brunswick on Feb. 20 1928,  son of the late Aubrey and Grace (Patterson) McFee.   He was an employee of Co-op Dairy, and McKay's Dairy Ltd. in Moncton before retiring. He was a passionate hunter and loved the outdoors.

He is survived by son  Allan McFee (Valerie) Berry Mills, N.B., Daughters, Judy Hawkes (Wayne) Riverview, N.B., Holly McFee (Lorna MacKendrick) of New Annan, P.E.I., Beatrice LeBlanc (Clarence), Moncton, N.B. and Holly MacLeod (Reginald) Kensington P.E.I.  He is also survived by grandchildren Aaron McFee (Tracey), Mitchell McFee (Melanie) and Ben McFee; Ryan Hawkes (Angela) and Lisa Gauvin (Matt), Matthew and Garrett Zamora, Mike Braam (Rachel)  as well as 6 great-grandchildren.

Also left to mourn is a brother Lawrence McFee of Moncton and sister Karen Stiles of Sackville.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Shirley (nee Guard) McFee and grandson Nick Braam.  

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday March 29, from 1 until 2:30 p.m. immediately followed by the funeral in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment later in People’s Cemetery Kensington.  If so desired contributions may be made to the Kensington People’s Cemetery Fund or the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
