Rev. Charles W. Wagner

Rev. Charles W. Wagner of Hunter River aged 64 years, died peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Wednesday May 8 2013.  Born in Liverpool, N.S. on April 18, 1949 to the late Owen and Vivian (Conrad) Wagner. Husband of Rev. Barbara (Smallwood) Wagner.  Father of Rev. Kyle Wagner and his wife Dr. Julie (Boutilier) Wagner. Brother of D.O. Reid Wagner.

Charles was the son-in-law of Thelma Smallwood, Charlottetown. Brother-in-law of Ray (Cathy) Smallwood, St. John’s NL; Blaine (Anne) Smallwood, Quispamsis, NB and Thane (Suzanne) Smallwood, Summerside.  Uncle of Melissa, Amanda, Matthew, Anastasia, Connor and Stephen Smallwood.  Also survived by Julie’s parents, Michael and Mary Boutilier, their daughter Janet Boutilier and her daughter Emmaline Boutilier. Predeceased by his parents and his father-in-law Layton Smallwood.

Visitation at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Monday morning at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Charlottetown at 10 a.m.  Interment in the Central Queens United Church Cemetery. If so desired, contributions may be made to The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund: PWRDF or the Atlantic School of Theology.

Brethren of Prince of Wales Lodge No. 18, A.F. & A.M.  Wheatley River, will hold a Masonic Memorial Service at the Funeral Home Sunday evening at 9 p.m.
