Born in Bristol on June 17, 1927, daughter of the late Lester and Mary Olive (Lilly) (LaPierre) McVarish. Wife of the late James F. McCormack. Mother of Marilyn (Donnie) Howatt, Borden-Carleton; Glen (Jeanette) McCormack, Riverview, NB; Gail (Terry) Nichol, Amherst, NS; Wade (Alanna) McCormack, Oromocto, NB; (Chris deceased) Arlene McCormack, Borden-Carleton: Pam (Barry deceased) Paynter, Borden-Carleton and Todd McCormack, Moncton, NB., Grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sister of Mary Rogers, Truro, NS. Sister-in-law of John (Elsie) McCormack, Kensington and special aunt to Bruce (Marietta) McCormack, Summerside. Predeceased by sister-in-law Sally Scrimgeour.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Thursday from 3-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Peters Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay. If so desired contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Cancer Society.
