Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Tuesday June 29, 2010 of Charlotte E. Jay of Hemlock Court, Charlottetown and formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged 84 years. Born in Darnley on June 14, 1926 daughter of the late James and Ethel (Caswell) Champion. Mother of Ervin Jay Vancouver; Sheila Bacon (Fred Coady), Stratford; Karen Jay, Las Vegas and Scott (Kim) Jay, Summerside. Grandmother of Kerri (Rob) Hambly, Jeff (Sarah) Bacon, Terri (Brian) Evers, James Evers, Sarah, Kristopher and John Jay. Great grandmother of Jordan and Alex Hambly. Sister of Laura M. Cousins (late David), Kensington.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired contributions may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
