Nanetta Aileen Profitt

1955-2024

Nanetta Aileen Profitt

With family by her side, our beloved wife and mother, Nanetta Aileen Profitt left her earthly form on April 12, 2024.  It is with heavy hearts that we announce her untimely passing.

Known to many as Nan, she will be greatly missed by her loving husband Garth Profitt as well as daughters Kellie (Billy) MacQueen and Jillian (Josh) Warren.  A loving Nana to Sadie and Allyson MacQueen and Turner and Theo Warren.

Born February 28, 1955, to the late Wallace and Audrey Mountain of Malpeque, she was also a sister, sister-in-law and friend.  We know Mom will be deeply missed by many who knew and loved her.

A devoted wife, mother, and an outstanding Nana, her beautiful sole will forever leave an imprint.  Talented, passionate, beautiful, resilient, funky, and fierce all wrapped into one.  She loved summer days spent at the beach, reading, science fiction and fantasy genres.  Her originality, imagination and eclectic style are inspirational.  She had a remarkable talent for drawing and painting, using her creativity in so many ways, much to the admiration of those who knew her.

Mom will be cherished as a warrior who fought hard and embraced each day with a determination which carried her through the toughest of days.  She has reached a resting place of  peace and will forever be in our hearts.

By personal request, there will be no visitation or service and we ask for no sharing on social media.  Arrangements for a Celebration of Life will be made at a later date.  If so desired, donations in her memory may be made to the Oncology Department at the Prince County Hospital.
