Born in Sydney NS March 21, 1924 son of the late Hall and Vera (Underhill) Burt. Husband of Gladys (Burgoyne Andrew) Burt and the late Mary Evelyn (Thompson) Burt. Father of Waldon (Nancy) Burt, Allison (Lillias) Andrew and Basil (Susan) Andrew and Calvin Burt. Grandfather of Gerry (Dianne) Burt, Dawna (Gerald) Smith, Darryl (Catherine) Andrew, Shane (Caroline) Andrew, Benjamin Andrew (Lisa), Brittany Andrew (Tim), Elizabeth Burt and Jacob Burt. Great-grandfather to Heidi Burt, Nathan Burt, Tyler Davison, Jake Smith, Zachery Andrew and Skyler Andrew. Great-great-grandfather to Zoey Davison. Brother of Mildred Locke. Predecased by his sister Halletta (Arthur) Pidgeon and brother-in-law Wilbert Locke.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Sunday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery Spring Brook. If so desired contributions may be made to the Geddie Memorial Cemetery.
