At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Saturday April 21, 2018 of Georgie Yvonne Taylor of Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge Belfast and formerly of Cornwall and Borden-Carleton aged 91 years. Born in Searletown, January 1, 1927 daughter of the late Horace and Ida (Bell) Sobey. Wife of Eric Taylor. Mother of Linda (David) Ramsay and Ivan (Florence) Taylor. Grandmother of Barbara (Walter) Vessey, Anthony (Lisa) Ramsay, Delisa Taylor-Robinson (Don Robinson), Roxanne (Mark) Eldridge and Ian (Kara) Taylor. Great-grandmother of Jennifer, Christen, Mechala, Tanisha, Kierra, Aren, Danielle and Emily. Great-great-grandmother of Declan and Jayden. Sister of Ruth Murray (Peter Gallant). Sister-in-law of Stella Sobey. Also remembered by sister-in-law Marion MacMurdo; brother-in-law Edgar (Irene) Taylor.
Predeceased by her great grand-daughter Keyanne Lee Ramsay, brothers Ray and Lorne Sobey, brothers and sisters-in-law Hillard Murray, Verna Sobey, Mae (Harold) Champion, Olga (Walter) Duggan, Lee (Carol) Taylor, Ivan Taylor, Ernestine (Willard) Hogg, Phyllis (Jack) Lister, and Robert MacMurdo.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Crapaud.
