The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital Summerside, surrounded by her loving family on Monday January 15, 2018 of Frances L. Schurman of New Annan aged 71 years. Born in West Devon, July 26, 1946, daughter of the late Edwin and Freda (Lockhart) Coughlin. Wife of the late Walter C. Schurman.
Mother of Colleen (David) Jenkins, Frenchfort; Priscilla (Greg) Raynor, New Annan and Debbie (Neal) Riley, Kensington. Grandmother to Kali Jenkins, Robyn Jenkins, Erica Raynor, Aleshia Raynor, Kale Riley, and Kyan Riley. Sister of Millie (Lester) MacKay, Pennfield, NB; Jean (Rankin) Cornish, Travellers Rest; Russell (Ruby) Coughlin, New Annan; Sylvia Coughlin (Charlie Ross), Fredericton, NB; Helen (Wilbert) Dumville, Charlottetown; Debbie (Marcel) Pineau, Stratford and Brian Coughlin Summerside. Sister-in-law of David (Elizabeth) Schurman, New Annan and Iva Schurman, New Annan. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father-in law and mother-in-law Alfred and Thelma (Clark) Schurman and brother-in-law Jack Schurman.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery Summerside.
