Peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Wednesday September 20, 2017 of William F. Cotton of Clinton aged 82 years. Born in Clinton, May 6, 1935 son of the late Elmer and Elma (LeFurgey) Cotton. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years Janet (nee Crozier); beloved daughter Susan (Kevin) Simmons, Irishtown. Proud Grampie to Dawn (Robert) Holmes and Jenna (Darren) Reeves. Special great grandfather to Cassidy, Alexis and Brodie Holmes and Liam, Layna and Linden Reeves. Brother-in-law of Lea (Curtis) Crozier and Isabel Palmer (Elwood Paynter) Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Lorne and Nina (Simmons) Crozier.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Sunday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery New London. If so desired contributions may be made to New London People’s Cemetery Fund.
Comrades of Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Br. # 9 Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
