Don L. Clark

On Wednesday April 26, 2017 of Don L. Clark of Kensington in his 85^th year.  The son of the late Keir and Ella (Ramsay) Clark.  The beloved husband of Eileen (Cobb) Clark, who he was married to for almost 65 years; an exceptional father to children Donna Clark, Charlottetown, Walter Clark and Julie Clark, Kensington; a loving grandfather to Michael (Brenda) Doiron, Victoria, BC, Alexis (Ryan) Vessey, Halifax, Nicole Doiron, Toronto, Andrew (Natalie Doyle) Clark, Charlottetown, Caitlin Clark and Patrick Clark, Kensington; and great Grampy to Daniel Doiron and Lillah Vessey.

Also survived by his brother Marvin (Marla) Clark, Summerside; and sisters-in-law, Elva Clark, Summerside, and Peggy Clark, Kensington; and brother-in-law, Tom (Marie) Cobb. Predeceased by his brothers Elwood and Leslie Clark and his sisters Mildred (Dave Clark) (Ralph) MacKinnon and Eleanor (Donnie) Gillis.

Don grew up in Kensington, lived for over twenty years in Charlottetown and then returned to Kensington, where he worked as an Agent for PEI Mutual Fire Insurance and operated Clark Insurance. He was also a town councillor for a great many years and a strong supporter of local sports teams, most notably the Kensington Granites.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Friday, April 28^th from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Saturday April 29^th in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:30 p.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  If desired donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
