At the MacLeod Care Clinton View Lodge, Clinton on Wednesday James E. Cole formerly of New London, aged 89 years. Born in New London June 23, 1927, son of the late Lewis and Della (Graham) Cole. Husband of the late A. Merle (Crozier) Cole. Father of Roger (Linda) Cole, Fountain Road; Lawrence (Brenda) Cole, Charlottetown and Lisa (Alan) Brennan, New London. Grandfather of Stacey (Jamie) Clark, Melanie Cole (Mike Noonan), Courtney (Michael) Sims, Rebecca , Morgan and Matthew Cole and Spencer Brennan and great grandfather of MacKenzie and Linkin Sims and Quinn and Connor Clark. Brother of June Crozier, Kensington. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Francis, Edwin, Ingham, Willard, Dawson and Ivan Cole.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington, no visitation by personal request. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired contributions may be made to the Clinton View Lodge Equipment fund or the New London Rural Community Fire Department.
