E. Adelaide Weeks
1925-2017
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Wednesday March 22, 2017 of E. Adelaide Weeks of Stanley Bridge, aged 91 years. Born in North Granville on September 28, 1925 daughter and the last surviving member of the Thomas and Katherine (Bertram) Wigmore Family. Wife of the late Milton L. Weeks. Mother of Evelyn (Stan) Casey. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by the following brothers and sisters Dr. Fred (Beth); Cecil (Reta); Hazen (Sarah) and Elmer (Marion) Wigmore; Christine (Edgar) MacKinnon; Edna (Kenneth) White and Mildred MacDonald; Sisters-in-law Isla Woodside; Alice Stewart and Olive Weeks.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. In keeping with Adelaide’s wishes no visitation will be held. A memorial service will be held at the Pleasant Valley United Church Sunday July 30 th at 2 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. A Reception will follow at the New London Community Complex from 4-6 p.m. If so desired contributions may be made to the Stanley Bridge Memorial Society Inc. or the PEI Humane Society.
