At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Wednesday December 28, 2016 of Pearl Schurman of Summerside aged 78 years. Born in London England, June 10, 1938 daughter of the late David and Jennie (Solomons) Mendel. Wife of James Schurman. Sister of Shirley (Colin) Wilkie, Estelle (Gerry) Gold. Sister-in-law of Frances Mendel, Margaret (John) Bruce, Lea (Darlene) Schurman, Wendy (Barry) Blake and Isaac (Bonnie) Schurman. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grad nieces and nephews and her two four legged pals Prince and Lily. Predeceased by her brother Jack Mendel and sister Muriel Scanlon, mother-in-law Audrey (Tuplin) Schurman and brother-in-law Eldon Schurman.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday from 1:00-2:45 p.m., followed by the funeral in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery Kensington. If so desired contributions may be made to the PEI Humane Society or the International Children’s Memorial Place.
