Muriel E.  Stavert

At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Wednesday October 19, 2016 of Muriel E. Stavert of Indian River aged 84 years.  Born in Kensington on September 26, 1932 daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (MacIntyre) Reeves.  Loving fiancée to James Wall.  Wife of the late George Champion, Ellsworth Bassett and Walter Stavert.  Mother of Jean (Wayne) Crozier, Kensington; Fulton (Marjorie), Kensington; Junior (Marie), Hamilton and Kevin (Sherry), Darnley.  MOther-in-law of Marshia Nelson.  Step-mother of  Janice (Bill) Breau, Sharon (John) Cox, Cindy (Stan) Osmond and Roy (Linda) Hicks. Grandmother of Derek (Jennifer), Dwayne (Emily) Herbie (Crystal), Courtney (Brad), Chris (Shelley), Mike (Joanne), Donald (Carolyn), Lindsey, Mitchell (Jessica) and Natasha (Curtis).  Step-grandmother of Ashley Anderson and Joshua Lindsey, April Sutherland (Martin Mollish) and Gennalyn Hicks as well as  several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren,

Sister of Inez Wall (Ellsworth deceased), New Annan; Mildred Stewart (Cecil deceased), Kensington and Georgie (Barry) Bertram, Kensington.  Sister-in-law of Amy Reeves, Minnie Reeves Carr and Nancy (Earle) MacKenzie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her son Gary (Melinda) Champion, sister Alma Chappell, brothers Ira, Vernon and Leaman Reeves, half-brother Daniel (Lillian) Buzzle.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation Friday evening  from 6:30 - 9 p.m.  Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m.  Interment in People’s Cemetery Malpeque.  If so desired contributions may be made to The Prince County Hospital Oncology Unit or the Cancer Society.
