Edythe C. Brown

Peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Saturday July 23, 2016 of Edythe C. Brown formerly of Kensington, aged 92 years. Born in Wilmot on June 22, 1924, daughter of the late Edmund and Bessie (Andrews) Stavert.  Survived by  her husband James D. Brown, daughter Darlene (Jerry) Thompson, sisters Ruth Mountain, Jean Paynter, Olive Jollimore, Leota (Keith) Dykeman and Lois (Bill) Daley, Sisters-in-law of Gladys Stavert, Jennie (Willard) Constable, Amy Reeves (Bruce Champion) and brothers-in-law Elmer Cannon, Grafton, Keith (Mabel), Irwin (Heather) Brown, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by brothers Walter and Albert Stavert, sister Pearl Cannon, sisters-in-law Mae Stavert, Isabel Brown and Jeanetta (Norman) Reeves,  brothers-in-law Robert (Bob) Jollimore , Robert Mountain, Vernon Paynter, Lloyd and Clifford Brown, Vernon Reeves and Eric Holmes.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington where funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.  Interment in People’s Cemetery Kensington. No visitation by Edythe’s request. If so desired contributions may be made to the Kensington People’s Cemetery Fund.
