J. Wilbert Gallant
1940-2016
Peacefully with his wife by his side, at the Q.E.II Hospital Halifax on Thursday July 21, 2016 of J. Wilbert Gallant of New Annan aged 76 years. Born in St. Edwards February 2, 1940, son of the late Solomon and Jane (Arsenault) Gallant formerly of St. Louis PEI. Beloved husband of Eva Gallant. He is also survived by his step-daughter Carol Walfield, step-grandchildren Ryan Chaisson, Tanner, Cameron and Paige Walfield; sisters Doris Gallant, Emily (Jim) Murphy; brothers Fred (Arlene) Gallant and Chester (Miriam) Gallant as well a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Florence and Loretta and brothers Frankie and Johnny.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday at St. Mary’s Holy Family Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Indian River. If so desired contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
