Peacefully at the Central West Hospice, Ottawa Ontario on Thursday, June 2, 2016, of Winston David Evans aged 42 years. Born CFB Lahr, Germany on September 28, 1973. Beloved husband of Sarah (nee Varsava) Evans and devoted father of Katherine age 6 and Alexandra age 4. Son of Alice and Ross Reeves and the late Cpl. J. Harold Evans. Cherished brother of Harold (Sylvie) Evans. Nephew of Don (Carol) Evans, Shirley (Paul) Whiteway, Keith (Carol) Bernard, Allan (Donna) Bernard, Elva (Jim) Carruthers and Gordon (Barbara) Reeves. Son-in-law of Gary and Rita Varsava. Brother-in-law of Mathew (Melissa) their children William and Charlotte, Michael (Jean) their children John and Margaret Varsava, and numerous cousins. Winston will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook on Saturday July 30 at 11 a.m. If so desired contributions may be made to the Geddie Memorial Cemetery Fund. Completion of funeral arrangements under the direction of the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington.
