At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday July 12, 2016 of Wendell D. Woodside of Summerside, aged 79 years. Born in Clinton on June 2, 1937 son of the late Harvey and Alice (Stewart) Woodside. Husband of the late Norma M. (Smith) Woodside. Father of Sherri-Lynn Woodside and grandfather of Declan James Tarrant. Brother-in-law of Shirley Hemeon (Scott-deceased), Barbara Bishop (Gordon-deceased), Phyllis (Beaton) Yates, Kitchner-deceased (Gladys) Smith, Joyce (Hillard) Noseworthy, Gary Smith, Wayne (Denise) Smith, Valda Smith and Randy (Lisa) Smith Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (PEI) or the Canadian Liver Association (PEI).
Comrades of Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Br. # 9 Royal Canadian Legion will hold a tribute service at the funeral home Saturday morning at 9:45 a.m
