Clifford R. Picketts
1935-2016
Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday May 3, 2016 of Clifford Roy Picketts, aged 81 years. Born in Goodfare Alberta on February 5, 1935, son of the late Crawford Roy and Blanche (Weatherby) Picketts. Beloved partner of Vera Ward, and husband of the late Evelyn (MacRae) Picketts. Loving father of Michael (Paula) Picketts, and Shelley (Anthony) Strickland. Grandfather of Melissa Picketts, Bailey (Jarrett) Murphy, Wilfred (Lise) Campbell, and Jordan Campbell. Great grandfather of Gabe Picketts, and Penny Murphy. Clifford is survived by his brother Allen (Kim), sisters Judy (Lowell) Coulson, Myrtis (Johnny) Boulter and Helen (Wendell) Warren; sisters in law Isabelle Picketts, Joan (Vernon) Simpson, and Janet Murphy.
Predeceased by brothers John, George, Duncan and Darrell Picketts, and sisters Gladys Smith, Kathleen Roberts and Marion Palmer.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for visitation on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Spring Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
