Suddenly at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Sunday April 24, 2016, Helen I. Lyle Small of Miscouche.  Born in Tyne Valley, daughter of the late Cecil and Lula (MacLean) Forbes.  Wife of  Bruce Small and the late Wilfred Lyle.  Mother of Grace (James) MacLaurin, Belmont Lot 16.  Mother in law of Donna Lyle.  Grandmother of Carol Lyle, Ellyn Lyle (Dustin MacLeod), Julie (Greg) Compton, Darlene (David) Campbell, Joan (Arden) Gardiner, Kent (Tammy) MacLaurin, Jane MacLaurin and Anne MacLaurin . Great-grandmother of Tanner and Alex Compton, Dillon Lyle, Ethan Campbell, Kristin Gardiner, Christopher Gardiner, Madelyn MacLaurin. Stepmother of Keith (Nancy) Small, Sharon (Andre) Baril,  Cheryl (Blair) Costain, Sheila Bridges (Dale Costain); Sharlene (Brian) Munday, and Keir Small. Step-grandmother of  Sarah Larter, Nathan Small, Michelle and Chantal Baril, Jeremy Costain, Jerrica Oatway, Janna and Daniel Bridges, Aden Costain, Connor, Ashlyn and Emma Munday.

Sister of Mary Houston, Barbara (Bob) Baldwin and Wilfred (Miriam) Forbes. Predeceased by her son Darrell Lyle, sister Lillian Yeo, brothers Sidney, James and in infancy Kenneth Harold Forbes.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Wednesday at the Central Lot 16 United Church at 10:30 a.m.  Interment in the Central Lot 16 United Church Cemetery.  If so desired contributions may be made to the PEI 4-H Trust or Lot 16 United Church Cemetery.
