At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Wednesday February 3, 2016 of Albert Charles "Fred" MacKenzie of North Carleton aged 82 years. Born in Freetown December 10, 1933, son of the late Frederick and Hazel (Murl) MacKenzie. Husband of the late Rose (Foster) MacKenzie. Father of David Roberts (Nancy); Richard Roberts (Ann); Deborah Roberts; Tom Roberts; Robin Thibodeau and Dawn Marie Swartzentruber-deceased. Father-in-law of Kevin Swartzentruber. Grandfather of Christina Farrell (Wes), Kyle Roberts (Dana), Bailey Thibodeau, Erzi Swartzentruber, Sam Swartzentruber, MacKenzie Roberts and great-grandchildren Milo Farrell and Shaya Roberts.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No visitation or funeral service by personal request. A graveside service will be held later in Harris Street Cemetery, Ingersoll, Ontario. If so desired contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
