J. Royden Dyment

J. Royden Dyment of Toronto,  passed away peacefully, at the Toronto General Hospital on Thursday December 17, 2015, aged 85 years. Born in Northam PE, September 2, 1930, son of the late Edward and Bertha (Birch) Dyment.  He grew up on his parents farm in Margate and as a young man went west to Lake Louise before settling in Toronto where he worked for many years with the Four Seasons Hotel organization.  He is survived and loving remembered by Douglas (Jean) MacKie, Stratford, Janice (Edmond) Perry, Miscouche, brother Earle Dyment, Summerside,  nephews Edward (Eleanor) Simmons, Amherst, NS; Douglas (Christine) Simmons, Summerside;  Ross Simmons (Wendy Mitchell), Airdrie, AB;  Ian Simmons (Chrysta Campbell), Summerside, Ken (Kumi) Dyment, Japan;  nieces Nancy (George) McDonald, Ottawa, ON;  Jane Dyment (Mark Saaltink), Ottawa On. He was predeceased by his sister Florence Simmons, brother-in-law Eldred Simmons and sister-in-law Wanda Dyment.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Monday from 6-9 p.m.  Funeral Tuesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  If so desired, contributions may be made to Summerset Manor Equipment Fund, The Kensington Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Mount Zion Lodge # 12.  Brethren of Mount Zion Lodge # 12 A.F. & A.M. Kensington will hold a Masonic Memorial Service at the funeral home Monday evening at 9 p.m.
